Prepare for the six-step Workforce journey before moving forward. Open each lesson for practical guidance, clear expectations, and a short reflection you can use during intake and assessment.

1Welcome to AIOS Workforce3-minute lesson

AIOS Workforce connects education, employment preparation, opportunity discovery, human support, and community organizations through one participant journey.

What the program helps you do

  • Record your goals, strengths, experience, and support needs.
  • Build and review career documents.
  • Learn practical skills and prepare for opportunities.
  • Request human coaching, referrals, and organizational follow-up.

Reflection: What is the most important result you want from your Workforce journey?

2What to Expect During Your Journey4-minute lesson

The journey moves through Intake, Assessment, Resume Builder, Learning Center, Opportunity Readiness Review, and the Opportunity Center.

How progress works

  • Complete one step before advancing to the next controlled step.
  • Intermediate saves keep you on the current page.
  • Step 6 remains open until a participant or authorized person decides what comes next.
  • AIOS does not automatically apply, hire, approve, refer, or close your journey.

Reflection: Which step do you expect will need the most attention or support?

3Preparing for Your Assessment4-minute lesson

The assessment is most useful when your answers reflect your real situation. It is not a test of personal worth and should not be treated as a reason to hide a challenge.

Prepare these details

  • Your work, volunteer, education, and training history.
  • Skills you use confidently and skills you want to strengthen.
  • Schedule, transportation, childcare, housing, document, or support concerns.
  • Short-term and long-term employment or education goals.

Reflection: What strength or experience do you want the assessment to recognize?

4Your Information, Rights & Privacy4-minute lesson

Provide information that is accurate and relevant to the service you are requesting. Ask how information will be used when something is unclear.

Good privacy habits

  • Review names, dates, email addresses, and phone numbers before saving.
  • Do not place passwords, banking credentials, or unnecessary sensitive details in open notes.
  • Request human clarification before relying on information that could affect benefits, housing, legal matters, or eligibility.
  • Correct inaccurate information as soon as you notice it.

Reflection: Is there any information you want a staff member to explain before you continue?

5Setting a Clear Career Goal5-minute lesson

A useful career goal gives direction without pretending that every detail is already known. Start with one practical result and update the goal as you learn.

Build the goal

  • Name the job, industry, training area, business goal, or type of opportunity.
  • Identify why it matters to you.
  • Choose one action you can take within the next seven days.
  • Identify one barrier and one person or resource that may help.

Reflection: Complete this sentence—“My next opportunity goal is…”

6Building Success One Step at a Time4-minute lesson

Progress is more reliable when large goals are divided into small actions that can be recorded, reviewed, and adjusted.

A simple progress pattern

  • Choose one immediate action.
  • Record what happened instead of guessing.
  • Ask for support when an obstacle appears.
  • Review the result and choose the next action.
  • Keep the journey open while useful work remains.

Reflection: What is one action you can complete immediately after intake?
