Electrical Safety & Readiness Foundation

Electrical hazards can cause severe injury or death. Safety, de-energization awareness and authorization boundaries are foundational before any future practical training.

De-Energization Awareness

Recognizing that circuits should be placed in an approved safe condition before work, subject to authorized procedures.

Shock & Arc Hazards

Awareness of electrical shock, burns, arc hazards and the need for qualified supervision.

PPE Awareness

Understanding that electrical work may require task-specific PPE determined by qualified authority.

Tool & Meter Safety

Inspection, correct rating, controlled use and damaged-equipment awareness.

Worksite Awareness
